Joe vs. mum! (Title changed)

Just been playing with the little kids from the kindergarten after school. In the end one of the kids wouldn’t let me go, and when his mom mum arrived, he sat between me and his mom mum wondering who to choose.

Then he came to me!

Whenever I tried to give him back his mom mum he just cried.

It was a heart breaking event!

    “Mom”? Joe, Joe, Joe… where are you getting this wacky american spelling from? I’m disappointed.

    When I lived in South Africa I’m fairly sure I called my mum “mom” – that’s just the way it was in South Africa. I converted pretty much immediately after moving to the UK. Quite easy to switch, I guess…
